In order for you to obtain credibility from banks or credit card processors, you should be able to prove that you have a good standing balance. Your personal account would speak for itself. If you have not been good at handling personal finances, then it would be risky for you to have a business credit. Applying for a business credit line would take some time, as banks and credit processors will have to look into your personal records and would get references as well. So it would be wise to have good standing in your personal account. Bear in mind also that before getting a credit card for your business, you have a good, realistic payment scheme. Otherwise you will find yourself in trouble coping with the fast-growing interest years in the coming years.
